I had star citizen running when I noticed it was black, and the Window set to star citizen from a previous session before doing these 3 steps and it fixed my prob instantly.Įdit: This only worked thrice. I've tried running the OBS 64bit (with/without admin privs), enable/disable anti-cheat hooks, among others. The fps seems sluggish so I'd rather stick to DX (I think). It starts out fine, the menu and loading screen still works, then just when the game starts both screens go black, when they come back the game looks horrible and OBS acts up. Switching to OpenGL worked for some games, though. Ive upgraded to new hardware, now OBS somehow interferes with my resolution of the game I want to stream. In order for OBS to work properly, it must be running on the same GPU as the image you wish to capture. If you need to use the “Game Capture” setting in OBS, then you must switch back to the “High-Performance GPU” because video games are set to run by default on your dedicated graphics processor.
